Speech recognition tips & tricks

Here are some tips and tricks to help resolve speech recognition issues:

• Ensure you're playing in a quiet environment
• Hold the trigger button and only start speaking once you are ready, as any pause may abruptly stop the recording process
• Only release the trigger hold after a few moments of silence, which will make sure the recording doesn't cut off with partial data

• Speech recognition is trained on native speakers, so while recording try your best to speak with the accent of the language you are trying to speak (it may seem at first that you're going over the top or trying to put on too much of an accent when you do this, but keep going!)
• Depending on your hardware this may differ, but do hold you trigger inputs for Speech Recognition FIRMLY while recording
• The language server may occasionally have problems but most of times the issues are due to difficulties in pronunciation... don't be shy, try to build your confidence with shorter words and give the game your best foreign accent ?

• Bare in mind that Chinese and French are extremely difficult as languages to learn due to accents and the different approaches in words pronunciation
• It may be a good idea to test yourself with a language you already acquainted with first to build confidence
• Try disabling the auto-pass in the settings menu if that gets annoying for you
